SEOUL, December 14, 2016 – Burson-Marsteller, a leading global strategic communications and public relations firm, today announced that Ihn Chee has joined as Managing Director and Market Leader for South Korea. Chee will serve as a member of Burson-Marsteller’s Asia-Pacific regional leadership team and will focus on growing new business and providing strategic counsel to key clients in the market. She reports to Margaret Key, CEO of Burson-Marsteller Asia-Pacific.

Chee comes to Burson-Marsteller from Weber Shandwick in Korea, where she was Senior Vice President and Integrated Marketing Team Lead. As a founding member of the Seoul office, Chee established and led the Consumer, Lifestyle and Healthcare Practice during her seven years with the firm, overseeing creative, digital campaigns and product launch events.

Before that she was Senior Account Supervisor and Deputy Healthcare/Consumer Practice Lead at Edelman Korea, and Senior Account Executive at InComm Brodeur, where she led PR and marketing communications strategies for high-profile multinational clients across the healthcare/pharmaceutical, food and nutrition and fast-moving consumer goods industries. Chee started her career at Future Communications in Korea.
