The Hague, June 15, 2017 – Burson-Marsteller, a leading global strategic communications and public relations firm, today announced Barbara Mulder has been appointed CEO of Burson-Marsteller Netherlands, effective June 15th, replacing Johan Nijlaan. Barbara joined Burson-Marsteller in January 2016 as Senior Director.
Barbara has over 25 years of international experience in corporate and crisis communications and public affairs. She has held both in-house and agency positions, providing strategic advice and programme execution support across multiple communications disciplines. She has developed and led numerous communications, reputation management and thought leadership campaigns and worked as a trusted boardroom adviser for clients facing major issues and crises, as well as during mergers and acquisitions.
