• Jeavons joins Direct Impact with nearly two decades of agency experience

 WASHINGTON, D.C., November 13, 2017 – Direct Impact (DI), a leading national grassroots public affairs, public education and corporate reputation firm and wholly owned subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller, announced today that Kathy Jeavons has joined the company as an Executive Vice President based in Washington, D.C. Jeavons will lead key client accounts and support business development for the firm.

Jeavons joins Direct Impact with nearly two decades of experience working in strategic communications, most recently serving as Senior Vice President with Story Partners, LLC, where she was responsible for leading some of the firm’s most important client engagements in the healthcare, energy, and food and nutrition industry sectors. Previously, she served as Partner/Director in the Corporate and Public Affairs Practice at Ketchum, and has held senior positions at Public Strategies, Inc. and Dix & Eaton, Inc. based in Cleveland, OH.

Earlier in her career, Jeavons worked for the George H. W. Bush White House as Associate Director for Public Liaison. Following her time in the White House, Jeavons served as a Public Affairs Specialist in the Office of Congressional Affairs for the U.S. Department of Energy.
