Dana Perino Joins Burson-Marsteller

Burson-Marsteller has announced the appointment of Dana Perino as Chief Issues Counselor for the U.S. She will be based in Washington, D.C. Perino is a skilled media relations expert. She served as White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush from 2007- 2009. Prior to that, she had been the Deputy Press Secretary.

Perino will be working with the Issues and Crisis Group, leveraging her experience in managing our country’s most pressing issues and crises, including the economic financial crisis, energy and healthcare reform, immigration and defense transformation.

The appointment was covered by AdAge and Reuters among other publications.
