Burson-Marsteller is organized around the businesses of our clients and the industries in which they operate. This focused structure ensures that our professional teams have an inside perspective on our clients' true business needs, and provides our clients with the sophisticated knowledge and cutting-edge capabilities to meet those needs.
Public Affairs
Public policy decisions have a profound impact on virtually every public and private institution. Each day, elected and regulatory officials make decisions that could jeopardize a company's competitiveness or complicate a non-profit foundation's mission. Burson-Marsteller's Public Affairs Practice helps clients achieve their bottom-line public policy and business objectives by shaping the decision-making process in Washington D.C., state capitals like Austin and major capitals around the world.
Hispanic
The Burson-Marsteller U.S. Hispanic Practice will provide clients with superior value and strategic integrated communications counsel in order to achieve business goals through effective implementation.
Burson-Marsteller's U.S. Hispanic Practice is the only network of bilingual and multicultural communications professionals operating within a global public relations agency. Burson-Marsteller is committed to the Hispanic community and is constantly evolving and adapting to keep up with this growing market segment through membership in several organizations, participation in and speaking at tradeshows, and via our daily email newsletter the Lat-"In" Buzz, which provides the latest news surrounding the Hispanic market.
Healthcare
Today's healthcare environment is evolving at an incredible pace. Trends such as the move to managed care, increased consumer participation in healthcare decision making and aging societies in the West have made managing the perceptions of healthcare organizations and AIDS-ravaged nations more critical than ever.
Burson-Marsteller's Healthcare Practice is uniquely positioned to help clients navigate this complex medical, political, social and economic landscape, and in the process create and manage perceptions that deliver positive business results. With professional staff throughout the entire Burson-Marsteller network drawn from the entire spectrum of healthcare disciplines, the Practice offers the ability to translate science into the language and everyday behaviors of people, patients and politicians.
Corporate/Financial
The New Economy has ushered in a new set of opportunities for companies of all sizes, across all industries. It has transformed many of the most long-established business practices and introduced first-of-their-kind communication channels. However, it has also created a number of communication challenges for a company's leadership.
The Corporate/Financial Practice provides strategic counsel, expert guidance and implementation support on communications issues foremost in the minds of today's chief executives, senior executives and boards of directors. Our goal is to help top management understand, enhance and manage the perceptions of their corporation held by key audiences, including shareholders and the investing community, the media and, by extension, the general public, employees and opinion makers.
Brand Marketing
Understanding consumer attitudes and recognizing the power and limitations of a brand are meaningless without creative strategic planning and powerful implementation of programs designed to increase market share. The aim of the Brand Marketing Practice is to add value to our clients' brands. We are committed to achieving measurable results for our clients through strategic programs that reach critical stakeholders. With more than 150 members with specialized industry expertise in food and packaged goods, consumer and business-to-business e-commerce, issues management, special event planning and consumer media and publicity, the Brand Marketing Practice offers a broad range of services to a diverse client base. Utilizing its skills and resources, including the proprietary BrandAsset® Valuator research, the Brand Marketing Practice specializes in providing clients with the deep knowledge and keen expertise needed to develop and implement programs that create tangible results.
