Matt Carter, currently the Managing Director of the EMEA region for PSB, will be assuming the role of CEO, Burson-Marsteller UK. He is replacing the current market leader Jonathan Jordan who is starting his own business venture. B-M EMEA CEO Jeremy Galbraith has selected Matt who has a fantastic track record of success in that market to lead a thriving operation.
Matt co-founded PSB in the UK at the beginning of 2006 and helped turn PSB in the UK into one of the company's strongest offices. He previously worked for Prime Minister Tony Blair as General Secretary of the British Labour Party where he was responsible for running the successful 2005 general election campaign. PSB has seen phenomenal growth over the past four years, making it one of the fastest growing WPP companies world-wide. The selection of Matt, with his strong research a data background, will also help further develop B-M's Evidence-Based approach to communications as a key Burson-Marsteller differentiator across the many practice areas in the UK business.
