Director 

At the Director level, you not only lead client relationships and teams, but also impact assignments throughout your market, region and often other parts of the world. You must be comfortable leading a team virtually, utilizing many communication mediums. Directors contribute to the global growth and performance of the firm by leading large complex client relationships and programs; generating significant new business; attracting new talent; and developing and retaining existing staff. They enhance the firm's intellectual capital by driving innovation, developing new products and services, and leveraging our strategic platform of knowledge, insights and ideas.  They are becoming recognized as experts in a particular practice, industry or capability in their local market and region.  They integrate new digital products and services in new business offerings.  They help ensure that clients and account teams feel confident about how best to utilize new media outlets.  At Burson-Marsteller, Directors are expected to act as trusted advisors to clients and serve as  highly regarded role-models and mentors for the next generation of the firm.  Your professional background is supported by the relevant academic credentials and might even include a Masters level degree.
