Burson-Marsteller Alumni Newsletter

Spring 2010

Greetings from Mark Penn

Mark PennDear Burson-Marsteller Alumni –

I am happy to report that we have recently welcomed back several Burson-Marsteller alumni to Burson-Marsteller. In March, we announced that we have brought on Helene Ellison as our new Global Chair of the Healthcare Practice. Years ago Helene cut her teeth in our media practice working on such legendary projects as the Tylenol recall crisis. We are thrilled to have her back as the leader of a practice. We also recently announced that Christine Jones is returning to B-M in July as Regional Managing Director of Asia-Pacific. Christine was market leader for Singapore from 2004-2007. She is currently leading Roche's global oncology communications. Helene and Christine join a long list of current B-M employees that have left B-M to gain new professional experiences only to rejoin the firm later in their career.

As 2010 continues to shape up as a year of solid growth, we expect to continue to add more talent. I am confident and hopeful that this means more B-M alumni will find their career leading them once again to Burson-Marsteller.

All the best,
Mark Penn
CEO, Burson-Marsteller
