Patrick Ford is the Worldwide Vice Chair, Chief Client Officer and Regional Chairman of Asia Pacific. He is a corporate reputation and issues management specialist with more than 30 years of communications experience. He has consulted with a wide range of clients on corporate positioning, crisis and issues management, media relations, labor relations, and ally development. Since joining Burson-Marsteller in 1989, Patrick has served as a senior managing director in B-M’s Public Affairs Practice, chairman of the Corporate-Financial Practice, and, from 2006-2011, as President and CEO of B-M/USA. Before joining Burson-Marsteller, Patrick served as vice president for public affairs at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research in Washington, DC. Before AEI, he was a public affairs specialist at Wagner & Baroody, for which he managed the Media Operations Center at the 1984 Republican National Convention. Patrick began his career as a reporter for The Jersey Journal in Jersey City, NJ. He also served as a special New Jersey correspondent for Reuters. Patrick serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Public Relations and on the Membership & Eligibility Committee of the Council of Public Relations Firms.
